A pack of Large Fries

July 1st is the Theme Day for Daily Photo bloggers, since I am taking something Red for the theme, I also took something red for this blog.

McDonald's Shaker Fries anyone?

This is proving to be quite addictive.


It is fun to put the sachet of who know what into the brown paper bag with fries and shake it out.




Then pour them out on the serving tray and dig in!



Hmmm.. wonder what is the correct fries they should provide. Sometimes, it is so salty, sometimes it is not. Are they suppose to serve shaker fries with unsalted fries or with salted fries?

Greeny slimy stuff at McDonalds

After lunch last week, colleagues and I decided to take refuge in the air-conditioning of Macs Restaurants after lunch.

So, some people ordered the new Jasmine Tea, others the sundae cone, I thought I will try the new promo thingy that's part of the Shrek promo thingy.

Ordered the Zesty Lime Sundae. Looks slimy doesn't it?



It actually taste quite good! The greeny thingy has little cubes of jelly. It's also not too sweet. $1.80 for this sundae.



Hmmm I wonder if the same promo is available all around the world?

Introducing the KFC Miso Crunch. Had it yet?

Hey hey hey, the Keropokman also eats fast food ok.. haha...

I saw the advertisement on the newspaper this morning, and I have not had KFC for sometime, so off I went to try try lah. Got new Miso Crunch KFC.

I ordered the set meal. It comes with 2 pieces of chicken.
The first piece...



The second piece... Err, does it look yummy to you? Haha...



It also comes with a regular ice green tea.



And also a regular whip potato.



The chicken is really crispy lah. It just came out when I ordered it. So it was not cold chicken. The taste, ok and so so lah. For me, I think original recipe's still my favourite.

The pieces of chicken is quite large though.
$4.95 for the set meal.

McDonalds's Sundae Cone without Cones! Really!

Just last week, I went to McDonalds in NUS Engineering canteen to have dessert. Colleague ordered a sundae cone for me. When I got it, I got a shock! What's this?



Apparently, when they run of of cones, they fill up the sundae in these plastic cups, the cups that they give to you if you ask for ice water.

Interesting eh?

McDonald's Golden Coins

Once in a while, I pop by McDonald's. Here's something unique. You know Hash browns, but these are called Golden Coins. It's actually hash-browns but they are savoury and shaped round.



Only available for breakfast I think...

Time for breakfast and off to work. Arrhh.. so many colleagues are all on leave this week for the CNY holidays, and I am working :-(
