Food Republic @ Wisma Atria

By know you know that at time, we do crazy things, we will take a cab halfway thru the island to eat and then take cab and get back to work. Of course we don't do it daily.

This colleague of ours, had to go to a dentist, and his dentist is at Wisma Atria. So we accompanied him lah, give him comfort a bit. LOL. (aren't you afraid of the dentist??)

So we ate at Food Republic.

We ordered 'Or Chien' (Oysters Pancakes)



We also had 2 plates of the "Or peh" leaves char kuey teow.



Another colleague ordered the "oh peh" leaves hay mee.



Also the "jian ping". We all don't find this jian ping nice at all.



Don't need to name the store ya, when you are there, I am sure you can find the store.
By the way, everyone seems to say the same thing. The similar food, the prices in Wisma Atria seems to be cheaper than at the Harry Potter version of Food Republic at Suntec City.

Have you been to the new Harry Potter foodcourt at Suntec?

We thought we walked into a library or bookshop. Then we realise, it's yet another new food place by Food Republic.

It does look very Harry Potter-ish ya? This is situated where the previous Congress Kopi Tiam is, together with the buffet place which was later called Kuali.

Oops, I just called it Harry Potter foodcourt. haha..


Name of the stalls as book covers. So innovative.

The library ends right here. You could see the clear separation. Not sure when it opened, but it must be these few days. Anyone know?



One of these days got to go back and try the food. I just took photos without eating! We just had a Indian Buffet celebrating our ex-CG leader's birthday at Peninsula Plaza.

Curry Noodles Chicken @ Varinice Clementi

Quick post. What do I like to eat in Clementi Central? Do you know that there's absolutely no restaurants in Clementi?

The only restaurant is Pizza Hut! (and now maybe the Sumoya). All the food you get from the food market, coffee shop food courts, or fast food outlets like KFC and Mcdonalds.

This is what I ate for dinner. I don't know why, but I like the curry noodles from this stall. I always order this in the kuey teow version. It is covered with curry sauce and a steamed chicken wing.



It's always sold out during dinner, but manage to get it tonight.

Republic Foodcourt @ Vivo City.

Few days ago, met up with 10 other friends and we watched Spiderman 3. You should watch it if you have not. After that we had supper or rather dinner, very late dinner at the Republic Foodcourt.

Did not know what to eat, so I actually queue (yes, I have gone mad)... at the Prawn Noodles Stall.



After that, we ordered some chicken wings to share.



They get all the famous hawker stalls around to set up shops here, so the food's all not that bad. The deco is all rustic old fashion too.
